Attorney Hamilton Tatum Holt IV
Prior to founding Bay Area Disability in 2014, I worked in dual capacities for a large national Social Security Disability advocacy group based in Connecticut: preparing claims for hearing; and, later, as an attorney representing claimants at hearing.
In the 15 months I spent there as a Social Security Disability attorney, I:
-
successfully obtained benefits for over 110 disabled individuals in 19 states, with a full 10% of favorable decisions based on On-the-Record requests with no hearing necessary;
-
achieved benefits awards by way of hearing for claimants in 12 states (CA, in addition to CO, FL, HI, IA, MT, NC, ND, NM, NV, UT and WA);
-
achieved benefits awards by way of On-the-Record requests for claimants in 8 states (CA, in addition to AZ, CT, GA, IN, NY, OR and SC);
-
appeared before 99 different Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) and represented claimants before ALJs at each and every California ODAR (Office of Disability Adjudication and Review/hearing location)
I like to meet all of my clients in person around the beginning of the representation and I am willing to make house calls, location permitting.
